Refund Policy

Deposits

All deposits made to reserve a puppy are non-refundable. Once a puppy is marked as reserved, we hold that puppy specifically for the buyer and may decline other interested families.

Reservation Cancellations

If a buyer decides to cancel the adoption after placing a deposit, the deposit will not be refunded. However, in certain situations and at our discretion, the deposit may be transferred toward another available puppy.

Health-Related Refunds

If a licensed veterinarian confirms that a puppy has a serious health condition that existed before delivery or pickup, and proper documentation is provided within the required health guarantee period, we may offer:

  • A replacement puppy of equal value, or
  • A partial or full refund depending on the situation

All decisions regarding refunds or replacements are made after reviewing veterinary records and supporting documentation.

Buyer Responsibility

Refunds will not be provided for issues resulting from:

  • Accidents or injuries after pickup or delivery
  • Improper care or neglect
  • Failure to follow veterinary recommendations
  • Allergies or landlord restrictions
  • Personal changes in circumstances or inability to care for the puppy

Shipping and Delivery Fees

Shipping, transportation, and delivery fees are non-refundable once travel arrangements have been confirmed or completed.

Returned Puppies

If a buyer is no longer able to care for their puppy, we encourage them to contact us immediately. While refunds are not guaranteed, we will do our best to assist in finding a safe solution for the puppy.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after all required documentation has been reviewed and approved.

Policy Changes

Florida Maltese Puppies Home reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
